With this InstallCard a professional installer will install one of the following; (1) SIRIUS Plug and Play radio with car kit as well as an optional FM relay (2) SiriusConnect radio, or (3) a SIRIUS Starbase FM modulated radio to your factory or aftermarket car stereo system. Installation includes mounting cradles, display units, the main radio device and installing the satellite radio antenna. For Plug and Play models, the cigarette lighter adapter will be used. Plug and Play radio owners may choose instead to have the power hardwired to your vehicle at additional expense. For other radio types, power will be directly connected to your car accessory power source. Some vehicles may require a mounting bracket (sold separately and available at the time of installation). FM Direct Adapter

The SIRIUS FM direct adapter lets you send the signal from your plug-and-play radio directly to your vehicle's stereo. The direct connection eliminates the static and interference that can occur when using a wireless FM transmitter.
